Right at the heart of this cultural extravaganza sits Milan, a city that oozes luxury, fashion, and innovation. It's a playground for trendsetters and design enthusiasts, where every corner whispers tales of style and sophistication.
With an overflowing abundance of designs, Milan boasts a plethora of world-class museums that celebrate every facet of design. The city's unique blend of history and innovation is what makes it truly special, and its museums are the perfect showcase.
The visual direction for this Design Week poster series was inspired by the city's iconic museums, specifically their distinctive shapes. These architectural marvels are works of art in their own right. The three posters displayed each represent a different museum: the Triennale, Mudec, and the ADI Museum.
When people first visit Milan, one of the first things they notice is the city's sophistication and class. The idea was to incorporate this sense of sophistication while contrasting it with a universal design element, in this case, the first sketch.
